Barcelona eyeing €30 million Man United Jadon Sando

•Marcus Rashford of Manchester United celebrates goal with teammate Jadon Sancho

FC Barcelona have been working to sign a top-class left-winger for the entirety of this summer transfer window, but have not yet been able to land one with only a few days left till the market ends.

Nico Williams was their main priority, but as he looks increasingly unlikely to join the Blaugranes, other options have been linked with the Catalans club lately, reports SPORT.

In the last two days, the Juventus winger Federico Chiesa has been closely associated with Barcelona, while the media has also been rife with reports of the Blaugrana entity’s interest in the AC Milan forward, Rafael Leao.

Meanwhile, Deco is reportedly also being attentive to another option for this position, the Manchester United winger Jadon Sando.

The Red Devils are still not counting on the English winger after his good half-season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, and are open to selling him for around €40 million, although he is rated at €30 million by Transfermarkt.

For now, no club has made an offer for him, and some sides believe they can get Sancho on a loan this summer. This is also the case with Barcelona, as he can be a very good option to have on loan.

However, his high salary can create problems for the Blaugranes.

The winger has been playing at the Old Trafford side since 2021 but has struggled to shine in the Premier League. In this third season, Erik ten Hag sidelined him for his lack of interest in training, and he was subsequently loaned out to Borussia Dortmund last January.

In total, Sancho has played 83 games for United, contributing 12 goals and 6 assists.

His last appearance for United came back in August 2023, but his loan stint at Dortmund showed that he still has the skills and talent to be a useful asset for any team.

However, his high wages will be a problem for Barcelona, and it remains to be seen whether Deco will further work on this option in the coming days.
