BREAKING: APC chairman dead

The FrontierThe FrontierMarch 6, 2024 8430 Minutes read0

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Paul Omotoso, is dead.

It was gathered from family members that the Imesi-Ekiti born politician and lawyer died in the early hours of today after a brief illness, reports Channels TV.

Omotosho, who was said to be active and participated in series of political meetings early in the week, was said to have complained about his health yesterday which made him to be rushed to a government hospital in the state capital where he later died.

It will be recalled that the late APC chairman was kidnapped in July 2023 by gunmen and was released after five days in the den of the gunmen.

Omotoso’s death followed the passing of the Chairman of the Ondo State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Fatai Adams, who passed on mid-February.
