Celebrity Boxing: Why Portable defeated me – Speed Darlington

The FrontierThe FrontierApril 19, 2025 2860 Minutes read0

Singer Darlington Okoye, popularly known as Speed Darlington, has claimed fellow artiste Badmus Okikiola, widely known as Portable, used traditional charms, commonly referred to as juju during their recent celebrity boxing showdown.

The match was part of the ‘Chaos In The Ring’ event, held today and organised by Game Rush in collaboration with Balmoral Promotions, reports The Nation.

The event follows previous showcases by the organisers, including a December 2024 bout and the launch of ‘Friday Fight Night’ in February 2025.

In a video posted on social media platform X, Speed Darlington alleged that his shoulder became dislocated during the fight, even though he felt no signs of exhaustion.

He suggested that the injury could have been caused by supernatural means allegedly introduced by Portable.

Portable ultimately won the match, which has since gone viral and stirred debates across social media.

The tension between the two musicians reportedly began when Speed Darlington offered Portable N500,000 to perform at an event, an amount Portable allegedly considered disrespectful.
