The FIFA World Cup 2026 is set to be the biggest and most exciting tournament in football history.

For the first time ever, 48 teams from around the globe will compete across an expanded format featuring 104 matches, reports AFP.

Hosted jointly by Canada, Mexico, and the United States, the competition will span 16 vibrant host cities, bringing the game closer to fans than ever before.

From thrilling group-stage clashes to the intensity of the knockout rounds, the full FIFA World Cup 2026 schedule showcases a month-long celebration of football, uniting nations, cultures, and supporters in a truly global spectacle.

The 12 Groups

The 12 groups for the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico after the conclusion of the European play-offs and before the last two qualified countries are confirmed after intercontinental play-offs Tuesday:

Group A

Mexico, South Africa, South Korea, Czech Republic

Group B

Canada, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Qatar, Switzerland

Group C

Brazil, Morocco, Haiti, Scotland

Group D

United States, Paraguay, Australia, Turkey

Group E

Germany, Curacao, Ivory Coast, Ecuador
