JUST IN: ASUU declares indefinite strike in Niger Delta varsity

The Academic Staff Union of Universities at Bayelsa State Government-owned Niger Delta University has declared an indefinite strike over the government’s alleged failure to honour agreements reached with the union.

The strike action was announced today following a meeting at the union’s secretariat in Amassoma, reports The PUNCH.

Details of the union’s grievances and the impact of the strike on academic activities at NDU are expected to unfold in the coming days.
