JUST IN: Nigeria’s Flamingos trounce South Africa, reach next round in 2025 U-17 Women’s World Cup

Nigeria took a giant step to qualification for the 2025 U-17 Women’s World Cup today, beating South Africa 2-0 in Ikenne, Ogun State.

The Flamingos had last week defeated the Bantwana 3-1 in the first leg of the clash, meaning they reached the next phase of the qualification race with a whooping 5-1 aggregate victory.

Harmony Chidi and Aishat Animashaun help Flamingos cook Bantwana in Ikenne.
