Man nabbed with 4 human heads allegedly exhumed from cemetery

The FrontierThe FrontierFebruary 5, 2026 590 Minutes read0

Ogun State Police Command has arrested a suspect, Gafaru Rasaski with four human heads in Ogun State.

According to a release by the Police Public Relations Officer, Boluwatife Babaseyi, the suspect was arrested by operatives of Shakura Police Division.

The PPRO said he was arrested for alleged unlawful exhumation of human remains and disregard for corpses.

Preliminary investigations, the police said, revealed that the remains were allegedly exhumed from a cemetery without authorisation.

The police described the act as a serious violation of the law and an offence bordering on unlawful interference with corpses.

The recovered exhibits, Babaseyi said, have been secured by the police, while the suspect was charged to court following the conclusion of investigations.

Police reiterated their commitment to upholding public safety and ensuring that individuals involved in criminal activities are brought to justice.
