Millions gather for Deeper Life Easter Retreat 2026

This Easter, millions of believers across Nigeria and around the world are set to experience a life-changing encounter at the Global Easter Retreat of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, themed “The Glory of Christ’s Resurrection.”

At a time when people all over the world are in dire need of hope, renewal, and divine intervention, this extraordinary retreat offers participants a chance to experience the risen Christ’s manifest power. The resurrection of Jesus is not merely a historical event — it has present-day implications that bring transformation, healing, deliverance, and restoration to all who believe.

Speaking on the upcoming retreat, the Church Secretary, Pastor John Ntekim, said in a statement last night made available to The Frontier, “The Global Easter Retreat is not just an event; it is an opportunity for believers to experience the power of Jesus Christ. Millions of people will gather to experience Christ’s resurrection power, and we are committed to ensuring that everyone, regardless of their circumstance, can participate fully.”

He noted, “The retreat will be held from Wednesday, 2nd to Monday, 6th April, 2026, at the Deeper Life International Conference Centre (DLICC), Km 42, Lagos Ibadan Expressway, and will run simultaneously in various states and regions across Nigeria and international locations. This ensures that believers from every corner of the world can join us physically or virtually and experience the same spiritual renewal.”

There is an indication that the retreat attendees will be immersed in dynamic worship, heartfelt prayers, and inspiring biblical teachings.

As usual, powerful messages will be delivered by Pastor (Dr.) William F. Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of the ministry, alongside other seasoned ministers, all focused on unveiling the glory and power of Christ’s resurrection.

On inclusivity and care, the Church Secretary emphasised that, as is usual for such gatherings, the ministry has made provision for the feeding and accommodation of participants at the designated centres.

He said that no one would be left out – everyone will have the opportunity to focus on making the most of the spiritual blessings that the event provides.

According to our source, participants can expect spiritual renewal, divine healing, practical guidance for victorious living, and unrestricted participation.

The Church Secretary concluded, “The Global Easter Retreat remains a beacon of hope, unity, and spiritual renewal. We warmly invite everyone to join us to witness the transforming glory of Christ’s resurrection, and experience His resurrection power firsthand.”
