The FrontierThe FrontierJuly 29, 2024 3361 Minutes read0

The Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of National Business and Technical Education Board (NABTEB) Prof. Ifeoma Isiugo-Abanihe, today disclosed that NABTEB has initiated a digital platform that makes it easier and faster for candidates to access its certificates online.

Prof. Isiugo-Abanihe,who made the disclosure at the official flag-off of NABTEB digital certificate platform at its headquarters in Benin city, Edo state, said the platform would allow candidates to make requests, payment, generate and download their Certificates online, reports Nigerian Tribune.

She said. “One of the mandates of NABTEB is to conduct examinations leading to the award of certificates, including the Ordinary Level certificates — that is; the National Business Certificate (NBC) and National Technical Certificates (NTC).

“The Advanced level certificates, consisting of the Advanced National Business Certificate (ANBC), and the Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC).

“While piloting the affairs of NABTEB as the Registrar ,Chief Executive Officer over the years, I have come to realize that one of the major needs of the critical stakeholders which the Board has been striving to meet even before my tenure has been that of clearing outstanding certificates.”

Prof Isiugo-Abanihe said the idea to develop a digital certificate platform which was birthed under her leadership will make life much easier to all concerned stakeholders of NABTEB in Nigeria and the diaspora.
