Applications for admission to the Nigerian Law School for the Bar Part II Course for the 2025/2026 academic calendar year will be opened on Monday, September 11, 2025.
Aderonke Osho, Secretary to the Council and Director of Administration, The Nigerian Law School, in a statement posted on the Council of Legal Education’s X handle (formerly Twitter) today, stated that applications to the institution end on Friday, October 31, 2025.
The session will commence simultaneously at the Nigerian Law School Headquarters in Abuja and at its campuses in Lagos, Enugu, Kano, Yenagoa, Yola and Port Harcourt on Monday, February 2, 2026.
“Nigerian graduates of law from Nigerian universities and foreign-trained law graduates who completed and passed the Bar Course at the Nigerian Law School are eligible for the program, according to the statement.
It stated further, “Intending applicants should go to the Nigerian Law School website www. www.nigerianlawschooledung for instructions on the procedure for application.”
The school warned that only candidates whose data have been forwarded to the Nigerian Law School by the registrars of their universities are eligible to apply.
It advised applicants to confirm this with their universities before paying the non-refundable application fee.
Completed application forms, together with references, must be downloaded, filled and returned to the Nigerian Law School via the applicant’s Dean of Law by Friday, 31 October 31, 2025.
Approved re-admission and cleared referred admission cases should check the portal under the “re-admission” section, attach their approval or clearance letters to the application form, and forward documents to the Secretary to the Council and Director of Administration at the School’s Headquarters by the same closing date.
The statement emphasised that late submissions will not be entertained and that applicants should keep their application numbers, which will be required to check admission status.
