Several Nollywood stars and celebrities have flooded social media with congratulatory messages following the traditional wedding of Priscilla, daughter of actress Iyabo Ojo, to Tanzanian artiste Juma Mkambala, known as Juma Jux.

The ceremony, held in Tanzania yesterday, marked the first of four planned wedding celebrations, as confirmed by Iyabo Ojo, reports Saturday PUNCH.

The proud mother shared photos from the event on Instagram yesterday, expressing gratitude and excitement for the upcoming celebrations in other locations. “JP2025. God, we give you all the glory. One done and dusted, 4 to go. Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Mkambala,” she wrote.

Priscilla also announced her new name, “Hadiza Mkambala,” in a post on Instagram today.

Nollywood stars have since shown their support through congratulatory messages and prayers for the new couple.

Actress Funke Akindele offered her congratulations in Yoruba, saying, “A ku orire.”

Actress Omowunmi Dada similarly wrote, “Iya iyawo number 1. Ayo, ire, ife, Ibukun loruko Jesus. Congratulations, ma.”

“We are warming up,” another actress, Toyin Abraham, commented as actress Nkechi Blessing wrote, “Iya iyawo fully loaded. We shut down Lagos, Nigeria, next.”

Veteran actor Adebayo Salami also wrote, “Big congratulations to the new family.”

Nigerian singer, Aituaje Iruobe, popularly called Waje, commented, “Congratulations, Sis. May God bless their home with love and grace.”

Other celebrities, including Mide Martins, Mercy Aigbe, Fathia Williams, Eniola Ajao, Destiny Etiko, Wunmi Toriola, Moyo Lawal, Nancy Isime, and comedian Woli Agba, among many others, joined in the well wishes, showering the couple with blessings and prayers for a happy and prosperous marriage.

The relationship has generated excitement among Jux’s Nigerian fan base, who have rallied behind him since his relationship with Priscilla became public.

The artiste also embraced Nigerian culture, as evident in his hit single ‘Ololufe Mi,’ which has garnered significant views on YouTube and received enthusiastic comments from his Nigerian fans.
