Peter Obi’s aide, Yunusa, emerges OBIdient Movement national coordinator

The FrontierThe FrontierSeptember 3, 2024 3740 Minutes read0

•Yunusa Tanko

An aide to Peter Obi, Yunusa Tanko, has just been appointed as the new interim national coordinator of the OBIdient Movement.

This movement has been gaining momentum since the 2023 presidential election, with many young Nigerians rallying behind Peter Obi’s promise of frugality and accountability, reports Nigerian Tribune.

Tanko’s appointment was announced during citizens’ engagement space with Peter Obi, which was monitored by our correspondent yesterday.

As the chief spokesperson for the Obi-Datti organisation, Yunusa has been vocal about the movement’s significance, stating that it’s larger than the Labour Party itself.
