Popular DJ’s estranged husband, Ohis Emmanuel, in child molestation scandals

The FrontierThe FrontierDecember 31, 2024 2172 Minutes read0

•DJ Kulet and estranged husband, Ohis Emmanuel

Ohis Emmanuel, the husband of a popular Disc Jockey, Kudirat Gbemisola, popularly known as Dj Kulet, has been enmeshed in child molestation scandals.

This was disclosed by Gbemisola in a ‘separation’ message on her social media handles yesterday.

The DJ confirmed that her husband had been involved in the dastard acts for a very long time, and she had forgiven him occasionally, leading her to contract infection three times, reports The PUNCH.

She wrote, “I, DJ KULET, am publicly disassociating myself from my ex-husband, Ohis Emmanuel (aka Benjamin), due to his egregious and reprehensible actions.

“Despite overwhelming evidence (including chats, photos, videos, and voice notes) of his infidelity, he has refused to change his ways. The final straw was the shocking discovery of his prolonged sexual abuse of a 13-year-old minor, which occurred under my roof for six months.

“Previously, I had forgiven him after he shifted the blame for his infidelity to external influences, unaware of the extent of his abuse. Further investigation, including a video confession on December 28th, 2024, revealed that he had also molested his 20-year-old cousin, resulting in her contracting an infection, as well as her friend. His predatory behavior predominantly targets minors, and he continues to engage in infidelity with multiple women. In our short-lived marriage of less than 8 months, I have treated infections three times.

She maintained that her mission has always been to protect victims of assault and expose the perpetrators, adding, “I urge everyone to be vigilant and hold perpetrators accountable for their actions.”

In another video making the round on social media, the estranged husband was seen confessing to child molestation while seeking forgiveness from his ex-wife.

However, reacting to the development today, the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency condemned the action while urging anybody with useful information about the DJ to provide it so that its agency can bring the perpetrator to book.

Lagos DSVA wrote on its X handle, “We appreciate everyone who brought the incident of child sexual abuse posted by @Olamide0fficial to our attention. As the Statutory Agency in Lagos State dedicated to preventing and responding to domestic and sexual violence, we take this very seriously.

“Violence in any form is unacceptable, and the Lagos State Government maintains a zero-tolerance stance against it. We have reached out to DJ Kulet via Instagram DM, but if anyone has more information, kindly get in touch with us immediately.

“Please use our toll-free hotline: 08000 333 333 or send us a direct message through our social media platforms. Every child deserves protection, no matter who they are or where they come from!”

Attempts to reach the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, to get development on the matter proved abortive as calls to his phone were unanswered as of press time.

Emmanuel and Gbemisola got married in the early April of 2024.
