The Nigerian Air Force has announced that candidates who passed its 2025 Zonal General Aptitude Test have been invited to attend the Selection Board Interview for recruitment into the Basic Military Training Course 46/2025.

This was contained in a statement issued today by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Headquarters, Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame.

The NAF said the names of successful candidates have been published on its official recruitment portal nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng/updates/ adding that the interview will be held at the Nigerian Air Force Base, Kaduna, from April 27 to June 13, 2026, reports The PUNCH.

“The Nigerian Air Force hereby notifies the general public that candidates who were successful in the Zonal General Aptitude Test conducted across 15 NAF Bases on 5 December 2025… are invited to attend the Selection Board Interview for Trades and Non-Tradesmen and Women into BMTC 46/2025,” the statement read.

According to the Air Force, shortlisted candidates must report strictly in line with their assigned batch schedule as indicated on the portal, warning that failure to comply will lead to disqualification.

“All shortlisted candidates are required to report strictly in accordance with their assigned batch schedule… Candidates who fail to report on their designated dates will forfeit the opportunity to participate in the Selection Board Interview,” it stated.

The NAF also stressed that the recruitment process is free and cautioned applicants against making any payments at any stage.

“The Nigerian Air Force wishes to emphasise that the entire recruitment process is completely free of charge, and candidates are strongly advised not to make any payment at any stage of the exercise,” the statement added.

The development follows the Zonal General Aptitude Test conducted in December 2025, which drew over 20,000 applicants nationwide.

The test was held across 15 designated centres, including Sokoto, Minna, Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi, Maiduguri, Yola, Makurdi, Jos, Ilorin, Ipetu-Ijesa, Enugu, Benin, Port Harcourt and Ikeja, in what the Air Force described as an effort to ensure inclusiveness and equal opportunity.

At the time, Ejodame said the recruitment process was guided by fairness, integrity and strict adherence to established standards, noting that the aptitude test remained a critical stage in selecting candidates based on merit.

“The Nigerian Air Force remains firmly committed to recruiting the best candidates by merit, as the quality of our personnel is fundamental to operational effectiveness and the successful execution of our constitutional mandate,” he said.
