REVEALED: Real reason EFCC is after me – Controversial crossdresser Bobrisky

The FrontierThe FrontierNovember 16, 2024 4030 Minutes read0

•Bobrisky

Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has traced the genesis of his problems to receiving an award for Best Dressed Female at an event.

Bobrisky was awarded the Best Dressed Female at Actress Eniola Ajao’s “Beast of Two Worlds (Ajakaju)” movie premiere in March 2024.

The announcement sparked outrage on social media, with many questioning the rationale behind naming Bobrisky, who is not a biological female, as the Best Dressed Female at the event.

In the aftermath of the controversy, Bobrisky has faced many issues with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigerian Immigration Service.

Speaking on his many travails in a post on his verified Facebook account yesterday, Bobrisky noted that he would not have had to deal with so many problems if he had not won the award, which came with one million naira.

He added that he would henceforth decline any award primarily designed for women.

He wrote, “My problem started from (sic) when I collected the best dressed female with a 1 million prize. For my life if I see an award for best dressed female I will disappear from that location ASAP.”
