Popular Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu, a.k.a. Ije Kpoms, is battling a serious sickness and has cried out to kind-hearted Nigerians for financial assistance.

The veteran actress of “Fuji House of Commotion” fame in an emotional video shared on her Instagram page on Thursday from hospital bed, said she needs ₦30 million to undergo three urgent surgeries. She warned that any delay could be life-threatening.

“My people – my fans and my family, I know that you’ve not seen me in circulation for some time now. I’ve been hospitalised now for 3 weeks. Please, the thing has gone beyond my control. I need your help; don’t let me die.

“I know that you people never forsake me. And I know that God will always see me through.

“But I’m begging you my fans and my family: don’t let me die. Because I am going through a lot, as in pain.

I have like 3 surgeries to go through with. Please don’t let me die. If there’s anything you want to do for me, please contact my management, they’ll be there for you. Thank you. God bless you.

My sickness will never be anybody’s portion in Jesus name. Thank you,” she said in the video.

This is not the first time Nwosu has faced a health battle. In 2013, she was flown to the United Kingdom for a successful heart and kidney transplant. At that time, friends, colleagues, and corporate organizations rallied around her. Former Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola donated ₦4.5 million, while another ₦2 million was raised by well-wishers.

According to her, the condition has relapsed, and she is back in hospital.
