That electricity go shock you – Nigerians knock Nollywood actor Yul Edochie over 22 hours power supply comment

•Actor Yul Edohie

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has attracted criticism following his comment that most states in Nigeria now enjoy 22 hours power supply on a daily basis because of President Tinubu.

Edochie had said this today, praising Tinubu for also being responsible for the reduced insecurity in the country, reports Saturday Vanguard.

Known as an ardent supporter of Tinubu, he has often been at the receiving end of scathing online attacks as most Nigerians assume he’s out of tune with current realities.

Today’s episode was not different as netizens have now flooded his comment sections across social media platforms to give him a piece of their minds.

@emmanuel_wonders_ on Instagram wrote, “Even Abuja no get, Yul I no dey join mouth for your matter but stop provoking me before Chukwu akpọ gị ọkụ there”

@klararita_24 also fired “Na that electricity ⚡ go shock you” on Instagram.

@nimemkenneth cautioned Yul saying, “Yul take it easy. This is not the best way to get political appointment. Focus on your acting career. Stop embarrassing your fans biko.”

On X, @ddmkaribo wrote, “Am sure he’s broke and seeking for unnecessary recognition as well as contract or appointment as adviser to the president on drama.”

@Sunnybee2020 denouncing Yul’s statement said, “You lie, Oga. We hardly see 2 hours per day in my area in Lagos. We now rely on inverter and generator. Moreover, you don’t even know how to lie very well. No one will appoint you to this present admin. They only engage professional liars, which I know you are not.”

Recall that Yul Edochie is the son of legendary and well respected Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie.
