Trump praises Elon Musk in election victory speech

The FrontierThe FrontierNovember 6, 2024 3951 Minutes read0

•Elon Musk and Donald Trump

Former President Donald Trump took the stage in West Palm Beach, Florida, rallying his supporters and praising tech billionaire Elon Musk as a rising force in American politics.

“We have a new star, a star is born,” Trump declared to an enthusiastic crowd. “Elon. He is an amazing guy.”

He further described Musk as “a character, he’s a special guy, he’s a super genius. We have to protect our geniuses; we don’t have that many of them.”

Trump commended the Tesla CEO for his support throughout the campaign, noting Musk’s active campaigning in Pennsylvania, a pivotal swing state.

Musk, the world’s wealthiest man, invested over $130 million into Trump’s campaign and other Republican causes, bolstering the party’s performance in critical races.

The billionaire pledged that his super PAC, America PAC, would remain active after the election, continuing to support conservative candidates and initiatives.

Early this morning, major networks projected Trump as the victor in Pennsylvania, securing the state’s significant electoral votes and edging Vice President Kamala Harris out of a viable path to the presidency.

The result has placed Trump on the cusp of an historic return to office, marking what some are calling a political comeback of unprecedented proportions.

Senator JD Vance, Trump’s vice-presidential pick, echoed this sentiment, describing the outcome as “the greatest political comeback in American history.”

Following his departure from office in 2021 amid controversy over the Capitol riot, Trump is poised to become only the second individual to lose the White House and reclaim it later.

During the rally, Trump assured supporters that Republicans would retain control of the House of Representatives, though official projections had yet to confirm this outcome.

House Speaker Mike Johnson, whom Trump praised as “doing a great job,” also appeared onstage, solidifying the Republican party’s confidence in their regained momentum.

With Trump on the brink of his White House return, he praised his allies and supporters for helping him achieve what many had deemed impossible, setting the stage for a new chapter in his political career.
