Visitation panel submits report on 5-year assessment of Redeemer’s varsity

The FrontierThe FrontierDecember 10, 2024 3551 Minutes read0

A nine-member visitation panel appointed by Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and Visitor to the university, has submitted its report to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Pastor Olukayode Pitan.

Pastor Pitan, who also serves as the minister-in-charge of RCCG’s City of David Parish, will present the report to Pastor Adeboye for review, reports Nigerian Tribune.

The panel, inaugurated on September 19, 2024, was tasked with evaluating the university’s performance over a five-year period, from January 2019 to December 2023.

During the presentation, panel chairman Professor Olufemi Mimiko expressed gratitude to the Visitor, the Board of Trustees, and the university leadership for the opportunity to serve.

He emphasised that the panel had executed its mandate rigorously and impartially, and now the onus is on the university authorities to implement the recommendations to advance its growth and development.

Responding to the submission, Pastor Pitan praised the panel for their diligent work and adherence to the deadline, attributing their success to the distinguished expertise of its members.

He assured the panel that their recommendations would be presented to Pastor Adeboye and pledged the university’s commitment to implementing them in alignment with its founding vision and ideals.

The report is expected to guide the institution in achieving its goals and strengthening its performance in key areas of education and administration.
