Foursquare Church appoints Politics & Governance Coordinator
Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria has reaffirmed Rev (Dr) Sam Aboyeji as its General Overseer.
Recall Aboyeji took over from Rev. Felix Meduoye, who served the church for eight years in 2019.
Prior to his emergence as GO, Rev. Aboyeji was the church’s Midwest regional Coordinator.
At the church’s Ajebo Lagos-Ibadan Campground, where the election held, Rev. Aboyeji, scored 1, 931 votes to emerge winner of the poll while the number of NO votes was pegged at 39.
The process to elect a new General Overseer that will steer the church’s affairs for another five years started in April this year.
