•Olayinka Solomon, husband and their baby boy

Nollywood actress Olayinka Solomon, popularly known as Ogo Mushin, has shared her personal experience with postpartum (postnatal) challenges, opening up about the emotional and physical changes she faced after childbirth.

Postpartum refers to the period following childbirth when new mothers undergo significant emotional and physical adjustments.

Olayinka, who welcomed a baby boy with her husband, Olasunkanmi Mabinuori, in January, took to Instagram yesterday to engage her female followers, asking them to share how their lives changed after giving birth.

The Yoruba film star revealed that she struggled with anger issues and

intermittent memory loss during her postpartum period.

“Postpartum mum. What changed after childbirth? For me, I get angry over little things and experience memory loss. We can gist now, and the next minute, I don’t remember,” she wrote.

She also mentioned experiencing increased hunger, saying, “What changed???? I don’t get full… I can eat now, and the next minute, I’m hungry.”

Olayinka, a popular actress in the Yoruba film industry, married Olasunkanmi in 2021. Before that, she was married to fellow actor Ibrahim Chatta, with whom she shares a son, Malik.

Her previous marriage ended several years ago amid rumours of domestic violence, which both parties have addressed in various interviews.

Olayinka has gained recognition for her performances in films such as Ogo Mushin and Omoge Lekki, earning a strong fan base in the movie industry.
