BREAKING: Popular Kenya pastor, Bishop Allan Kiuna is dead

•Late Bishop Allan Kiuna

The co-founder and senior pastor of Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) in Nairobi, Bishop Allan Kiuna, has passed away.

He died in a Nairobi hospital where he had been admitted after his condition worsened yesterday, a family spokesperson confirmed.

Family and friends gathered at his Runda home following the news of his death, reports Vanguard.

Allan Kiuna had been battling multiple myeloma cancer since his diagnosis in 2018/2019. Multiple myeloma is a type of cancer characterised by abnormal plasma cells accumulating in the bone marrow, forming tumors in various bones throughout the body.

Kiuna was married to Bishop Kathy Kiuna, also of JCC.

His death has been widely mourned, with many describing him as a dedicated and inspirational leader.

In 2019, Bishop Allan Kiuna publicly shared his struggle with cancer, expressing his gratitude to God for helping him endure the difficult journey.

Jubilee Christian Church was established in January 1999 by Bishop Kiuna and his wife, Reverend Kathy, who envisioned creating a vibrant faith community. His legacy continues through the lives he touched and the church he helped build.

President Ruto mourns Bishop Allan Kiuna

President William Ruto has joined the nation in mourning the founder of the Jubilee Christian Church Bishop Allan Kiuna.

In a message of condolence today, Ruto described Kiuna as a “dedicated Christian leader”.

He stated that Kiuna inspired many to follow the teachings of the Lord.

“To his wife, Rev. Kathy Kiuna and family we stand with you in this time of grief and mourning, and pray that you find the courage to persevere through this trying period.

“May he rest in peace”, Ruto said.
