EPL: Man City sign Marc Guéhi until 2031

The FrontierThe FrontierJanuary 19, 2026 760 Minutes read0

•Marc Guehi signs for Man City

Marc Guéhi has completed a high-profile move to Manchester City, joining from Crystal Palace on a long-term contract that runs until June 2031.

The England international brings an end to his four-year spell at Selhurst Park, where he established himself as one of the Premier League’s most consistent centre-backs and a key figure in Palace’s defence.

According to a Fabrizio Romano post on X today, “Marc Guehi joins Man City from Crystal Palace on contract until June 2031.”

City moved decisively to secure his signature, with Guéhi seen as a strategic addition to Pep Guardiola’s squad both for the present and the long term.

For City, the signing addresses the need for defensive depth and versatility.

Guéhi’s ability to play out from the back and operate in a high defensive line makes him a natural fit for Guardiola’s system.

He is expected to compete immediately for a starting role while also providing long-term stability in central defence.
