HAPPENING NOW: Lagos APC members protest, demand sack of state chairman

The FrontierThe FrontierJuly 28, 2025 1820 Minutes read0

•The protesters

Members of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos are currently staging a protest at the Lagos State House of Assembly, demanding the removal of the party’s state chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi.

Protesters, believed to be representatives from all 57 Local Council Development Areas, were seen carrying placards with inscriptions such as “Ojelabi Must Go” and “We Want Fresh Leadership.”

The demonstration, which began earlier today, has drawn a significant security presence, with police officers stationed around the Assembly complex to prevent any breakdown of law and order.
