Heavily pregnant comedian, Real Warri Pikin reveals unborn baby’s gender

•Anita Asuoha a.k.a. Real Warri Pikin

Nigerian comedian and show host, Anita Asuoha, popularly known as Real Warri Pikin, has announced that she and her husband are set to welcome a baby girl.

The entertainer, who revealed her pregnancy during Father’s Day celebrations in June 2025, shared a touching gender reveal video on Instagram today, Monday, September 8.

The clip captured her, her husband, and their three children rejoicing as they discovered the baby’s gender.

While admitting she had wished for a boy, Real Warri Pikin said she was nonetheless overjoyed about adding another daughter to the family.

Speaking in an interview with Punch, the comedian explained that her gastric sleeve surgery was a major factor in her ability to conceive again. The procedure, which involved the removal of 80 percent of her stomach, helped her achieve a healthier weight, improve her overall well-being, and eliminate fertility challenges linked to obesity.

She described her current pregnancy as “smooth and risk-free,” adding that many misconceptions still exist about the surgery despite its positive impact on her health and fertility.
