Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has dissolved the State Executive Council and has announced the appointment of caretaker chairmen for the 21 local government councils across the state.
Governor Bello deposed the Ohimege Igu, the paramount ruler of Koton Karfe and two other first class chiefs, just as he also appointed the Ohinoyi of Ebira land, Maigari of Lokoja.
