JUST IN: Lagos exams board announces date for Common Entrance Screening Test

The FrontierThe FrontierAugust 19, 2026 181 Minutes read0

The Lagos State Examinations Board has announced August 21, 2026, as the date for the commencement of the Common Entrance Screening Test.

The examination is scheduled to hold from Friday, August 21, to Monday, August 24, starting at 8 a.m. daily at the Public Service Staff Development Centre, Magodo, Lagos, reports The PUNCH.

The board, in a statement issued on Wednesday, said the examination portal had been opened for candidates who successfully registered for the Common Entrance Screening Test to print their examination slips.

It urged candidates to log on to the portal and print their slips ahead of their respective examination dates.

Candidates were also advised to check the details on their slips carefully and ensure they bring the printed copies to the examination centre.

“All candidates are strongly advised to take note of the examination dates, time and venue, and make adequate arrangements to arrive at the centre early,” the Board said.

It added that the PSSDC, Magodo, remained the only designated venue for the examination.

The Registrar of the Lagos State Examinations Board, Adebayo Orunsolu, urged candidates to conduct themselves responsibly and comply with all examination rules and regulations.

Orunsolu said adherence to the guidelines would contribute to the smooth conduct of the exercise.

He wished all candidates “a successful and hitch-free Common Entrance Screening Test” on behalf of the Board.

The board further advised candidates to print their examination slips through the screening test portal and present them at the centre on their scheduled examination days.
