Lagos State University (LASU) has announced the commencement of applications for undergraduate students interested in participating in a digitisation project under its Study Work Scheme.

The university stated that the selected students will support the development of its Open Educational Resources (OER) Portal, a digital platform aimed at improving access to academic materials.

“The Lagos State University (LASU) hereby invites applications from interested undergraduate students for participation in the LASU Study Work Scheme,” LASU announced.

“This initiative supports the development of the University’s Open Educational Resources (OER) Portal, a digital repository aimed at enhancing access to academic materials for all students.”

According to LASU, the project will focus on converting and organising academic theses and related materials into digital formats.

The scheme is open to current undergraduate students in 300-level and above with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.0.

Applicants must also demonstrate digital proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and general internet use.

The project will run from November 3 to 15, 2025 and will be based at the LASU Postgraduate School. Selected participants will work 2 to 3 hours daily during the two-week period and will receive a stipend upon completion of the assignment.

The application window is open from October 20 to 22, 2025. Interested students are required to apply through the official link: https://forms.gle/qz1Y7PTW4Hba1xT69.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview before final selection.

The university described the programme as “an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to LASU’s academic advancement while gaining valuable digital work experience.”

Interested students are encouraged to apply within the stipulated timeframe. This is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to LASU’s academic advancement while gaining valuable digital work experience.
