Remo Stars head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, has landed a role as one of the assistant coaches to the Super Eagles interim head coach, Austine Eguavoen, for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
Eguavoen will take charge of the Super Eagles for the two games, reports Daily Independent.
Ogunmodede, a prominent figure in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), has steered Remo Stars to a runner-up position in the past two seasons.
He recently signed a fresh three-year deal with the Sky Blue Stars.
The Super Eagles will host neighbours Benin Republic at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, this Saturday.
Subsequently, they will clash with Rwanda at the Amahoro Stadium, Kigali, next week Tuesday.
