The FrontierThe FrontierNovember 1, 2024 6130 Minutes read0

As part of his efforts to diversify Akwa Ibom economy and drive substantial revenue growth, Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State, in the company of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, former Akwa Ibom Governors Udom Emmanuel, and Obong Victor Attah, led the crème de la crème of Akwa Ibom leadership, Wednesday, October 30, 2024, to set in motion the construction of the 18-Towers Akwa Ibom Towers in Lagos, the commercial nerve centre of Nigeria.

In a chat with The Frontier after the groundbreaking ceremony in Lagos, Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Governor, Mr Anietie Usen said, “The mega structure represents a bold step towards economic innovation. It features luxury apartments, gyms, pools, and smart building technology.

“It’s designed to attract urban professionals and generate revenue through property leases and tourism, boosting GDP for both Akwa Ibom and Lagos States. It will be ready in 24 months.

“This governor is paving the way for the prosperous future and greatness of Akwa Ibom State.”
