A man named Alex, believed to be a ritualist and Yahoo Boy, was caught in the nation’s capital, Abuja, attempting to kill a hook-up girl named Olivia for rituals.

The incident took place at a hotel in Wuse Zone 5, Abuja, reports Nigerian Tribune.

The hotel workers rescued Olivia after hearing her screams from one of the rooms.

They found her completely naked and tied with cellotape, with her mouth sealed and her legs and hands tied.

The FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, on behalf of the FCT Command, stated, “The FCT police command is aware of the video footage circulating about a lady who was criminally confined in Top View hotel, Wuse, Abuja on 17th September, 2024, by an alleged Internet fraudster for money ritual.”

“Findings revealed that the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has taken the suspect into custody and are yet to hand over to the police for diligent investigation.

“The FCT police command for all intent and purposes awaits the NSCDC to hand over all parties for commencement of diligent and discreet investigation.

“Further development will be communicated in due course.”
