Glo salutes Nigerian workers for driving national progress

The FrontierThe FrontierMay 1, 2026 440 Minutes read0

Leading provider of digital and connectivity services, Globacom, has commended Nigerian workers for their dedication and continued contributions to national development.

This comes as workers around the world mark the 2026 International Workers’ Day.

In a statement issued in Lagos, Globacom recognised the vital role workers play in driving the country’s growth, affirming that workers remain a key lever in the progress of any country.

The company advised workers in both the public and private sectors to remain committed and focused, emphasising that their efforts are critical to achieving sustained progress.

“We urge workers not to relent in giving their best to the growth and development of the country,” the company said.

The International Workers’ Day is celebrated every year on May 1 to honour the contributions and importance of workers globally.
