The FrontierThe FrontierOctober 7, 2025 5450 Minutes read0

The Senate resumed plenary today after a 10-week recess, with Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin presiding over the session.

Noticeable presence at the Senate chambers today was the embattled Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who is returning after a six-month suspension, reports Channels TV.

Conspicuously absent at the time of resumption was the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio.

Despite his absence, the plenary saw a significant turnout of senators, signaling a full return to legislative activities.
