Nollywood diva Peju Johnson’s bold statements on love, sex and marriage

The FrontierThe FrontierMarch 28, 2026 930 Minutes read0

•Actress Peju Johnson

Peju Johnson, the stunning Nollywood actress, has never shied away from speaking her mind, and her latest comments have left fans and critics alike talking.

From once expressing readiness to accept the Ooni of Ife’s marriage proposal, to blaming sugar daddies for young women’s reluctance to marry, Peju’s words often spark controversy on social media, reports Saturday Vanguard.

Her latest movie, “Right Thing”, which premiered on her YouTube channel recently has also generated buzz, particularly a scene showing intimacy with a co-actor.

Peju addressed the fuss, saying she’s not sexually active in 2026 and distancing her on-screen performances from real-life preferences.

“Since I dropped my latest movie, people are reacting differently to it. I’m not someone who’s attracted to men. I haven’t had sex since the beginning of 2026,” she said in an interview.

While some find her comments genuine, others point to her sensual dress sense and lifestyle as contradictory.
